Looking Up Topics after Sources Dry Up

Recently many of my sources I am subscribed to or follow have about Web3 gone quiet. Does this mean the topic is stagnated and there is nothing being created?

Well, a quick search on some subjects and I am seeing developer activity but not alot of ‘views’ or ‘shares’ from that result. The silence wasn’t the sound of absence but actually the complete opposite.

Developers are still creating on Web3 and they are constructing better ways to operate on Web3. It’s actually quite amazing what is happening on Web3

Ecency, a Hive Blockchain frontend, is allowing a type of cross-posting from Web2 domains on Hive, Unstoppable domains is having it’s own surge of ‘domain auctions’ akin to the early Domain sales of Web2, and again on Hive, they are bringing Podcasts and Audio options onto the blockchain.

On Web3 itself as a general concept for newbies though, there is infrastructure being built to better implement systems and to redefine certain subjects on Web3 that doesn’t involve ‘Cryptocurrency’ or ‘Blockchain’.

Those 2 elements are somewhat ‘core’ to Web3 and decentralization but with the way the early 2020’s were with Cryptocurrency and Blockchain and the bad impressions they gave off after all the scams, rugpulls, problems with NFTs, and other aspects that made the whole territory seem skeevy, this new introduction method and explanation of the space seems like a correct way to move forward for new participants and their dApps.

The lesson I’ve gathered from this re-check up is this:

Sources dry up. That doesn’t mean the well of information is dry. Do a new search and keep the parameters tight (Within a year to 3 months) and see what pops up. The results may surprise and what is being constructed will be actually helpful once it gets set up.

People are always working the space and they still believe in the project, concept, and idea of Web3 or the subject matter.

That’s all for now.

Don’t get comfortable with current sources if they aren’t providing.
