When every source has been found and researched it is important to take some time to think it over. How will this new avenue affect the venture? What are the next steps necessary? How much time will it take to accomplish? It might help to take the time to write down every aspect and look it over once the page is full.
New ideas are always exciting and taking immediate action is easy to do in the heat of the moment but if there is time to take a breath, lay everything out, and look at what this new prospect might bring, take it! Speak out loud or write down thoughts about this new topic being introduced and seriously chew on what it will add to the venture.
Taking the time to focus before making the (possibly) huge decision to add something new to a business, curriculum, or lifestyle will help cement its place in the rotation of things to do.
Helpful advice:
– List out every pro and con and the benefits it may bring
– Try to find a spot where it will fit into multiple aspects
– Look up recent articles, videos, or blogs on what others say about the subject/topic for a second perspective
